Eye Exam

COMPREHENSIVE EYE EXAMS

A comprehensive eye exam is the first step to making sure that every member of your family has healthy eyes. We specialize in individualized solutions to assure you the best and most personal vision care possible. If the result of your vision examination requires a specialist in another field, we will assist you in making referral appointments with the appropriate professional and maintaining close contact with you and the specialist. We pride ourselves in providing cutting edge technology to determine the visual and health status of your eyes.

SPECIALIZED TESTING

Our optometry team will also perform crucial screenings and management for eye diseases such as:

Glaucoma

Cataracts

Age-related macular degeneration (AMD)

If we happen to identify any eye problems that require surgery, we're happy to thoroughly go over your options and provide you with the pre- and post- operative care as needed. Our close relationships with the best eye surgeons in the area allow us to direct you to the local provider best equipped to help.

CONTACT LENSES

Your eye examination and personal contact lens consultation is designed to determine your lifestyle vision needs and select the proper type of contact lens for maximum performance, vision and eye health. We've been around long enough to recognize that each eye is unique, and there's no such thing as contacts that are "one-size-fits-all."

 EYEGLASSES & SUNGLASSES

Our expert opticians are here to help you find frames that look great and help you see even better. Optomap® Imaging

Precision Eyecare offers Optomap® Imaging as an important part of our eye exams. An Optomap provides Dr. Bodman with a high-resolution 200° image in order to ascertain the health of your retina. This is much wider than a traditional 45° image many offices use.

Many eye problems can develop without you knowing, in fact, you may not even notice any change in your sight – fortunately, diseases or damage such as macular degeneration, glaucoma, retinal tears or detachments, and other health problems such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be seen with a thorough exam of the retina. The optomap is fast, easy, and comfortable for anyone!

The inclusion of optomap as part of a comprehensive eye exam provides:

  • A scan to show a healthy eye or detect disease.

  • The opportunity for you to view and discuss the optomap image of your eye with your doctor at the time of your exam.

  • A permanent record for your file, which allows your doctor to view your images each year to look for changes.

EYE SUPPLEMENTS

Just as you can take multivitamins to support your body, you can also take supplements to help support your eye health and vision. Our experienced doctors will provide you with supplements that work for your unique eyes. whether you need to address a specific eye condition or want broad support for your

long-term eye health.
